Amineh Arani is an Iranian scriptwriter, actress, and filmmakerwhose work reflects a deep engagement with themes ofidentity, displacement, and resilience. With a Master’s degreein Theatre Direction, she has contributed to both stage andscreen, earning recognition for her roles and storytelling. Herwork has been featured in various film festivals, and sherecently co-wrote a short script for a project that wasawarded the Crystal Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. Amineh’sfilmography—including Ankle-Deep, Puffer Fish, The Single Horn(for which she won a screenwriting award), and The Seed of theSacred Fig, in which she also starred—showcases hercommitment to exploring the complexities of contemporarylife through cinema.Despite living abroad out of necessity, Amineh remainsdedicated to telling the stories of her homeland, bridgingcultural divides through her art and capturing the nuances ofcontemporary Iranian life.
