Director Hani Sami holds a B.A. in Theatre from the American University in Cairo and an M.A. in Directing from the École Supérieur d'Audiovisuel in Toulouse (ESAV).He has participated with his plays and short films in many local and international festivals. These titles include:The Stronger (La corrida in Toulouse, Cannes - Short Film Corner, 2014),The Newcomer (2-B Continued in Cairo, 2015),Last Tape (Luxor Festival, Cairo Video Festival, Zawya Festival, 2017),Mind the Gap (D-Caf in Cairo, Shubbak in London, Bozzar in Brussels, Dancing on the Edge in Amsterdam and Rencontre à l'échelle in Marseille, 2017). Hani also directs filmmaking workshops and was the pedagogical director of the Jesuit Film Schools in Cairo and Alexandria.
