We were present during the Venice Film Festival, September 3, 2023, to award the Meditalents prize, in partnership with the Milano Film Network, to one of the 14 projects selected during the MFN residency.

On September 2 and 3, two days were dedicated to presenting the projects developed during the 8th edition of In Progress MFN, the one and only production workshop for the development of audiovisual projects for Italian writers and directors, which since 2014 has been one of the components of the Milano Film Network (MFN) project supporting independent Italian cinema and is directed by Alice Arecco and Luca Mosso.‍

The projects thus developed were presented at Milano Industry Days - MID by MFN #1 at Venice Lido, thanks to the collaboration between The Venice Days and Isola Edipo: at the end of the presentations and individual meetings, at the awards ceremony on Sunday September 3 at 5:30pm, the jury made up of the three workshop mentors and Nella Banfi, Sabrina Baracetti, Tommaso Bertante and Marica Stocchi, awarded a development grant and prizes donated by the In Progress MFN 2023 partners.

The Meditalents prize, which consists of free participation in the Meditalents LabDoc writing residency - an accompaniment to the writing and development of feature-length documentaries - was awarded to Miriam Gili for "Caretta caretta".
